Welsh Language Act - Now's The Time

Cymdeithas yr Iaith Gymraeg (The Welsh Language Society) believe that everyone who lives in Wales — Welsh-speaking or not — should have the following rights:

The right to see and hear the Welsh language all around us and to live in a country where the language is official and has a vibrant future
The right to have a Welsh-medium education and to be bilingual when leaving school
The right to receive services, information, facilities and goods in Welsh when dealing with the public, private or voluntary sector
The right to use and learn Welsh at work
The right to be treated with respect and equality, and not be discriminated against for using or wanting to use Welsh
The right to have a court hearing in Welsh and to have a Welsh-speaking jury
